Welcome to the Telecenters of the Americas Partership (TAP) home page. TAP was established to serve major regional telecenter networks across the Americas to support their sustainability strategies by providing technical assistance and organizational development resources and opportunities to benefit individual telecenters and their communities. The TAP Associates are committed to identifying the needs and redressing the problems of national or regional telecenters, and has as one of its foremost aims supporting the education and economic development and well being of its clients who are socially and economically disadvantaged. No services will be denied to any organizations or clients on the basis of age, color, creed, national origin, race, sex, sexual orientation, or individuals with disabilities.

• TAP successfully completed in 2006 a pilot experiment in developing an open marketplace for expertise sharing among community telecenters across the Americas. Known as the "exchange project" this effort was supported by Telecenters.org. Out of more than 60 offers and demands 13 projects of mutual assistance were formulated of which 8 were funded for their visit component. More
• TAP is partnering with i-Malls Global in developing a comprehensive e-commerce facility to serve communities and small businesses served by telecenters throughout the Americas. The infrastructure is being teste and full scale operation is due to begin early in 2008. More
